UAV services for oil Palm Plantation

Geomatika Beyond provides UAV remote sensing image capturing for plantation management for RM2.00 - RM 4.00 per Hectare. The data can be used for several applications:

1- Plantation Inventory:palm survey, infrastructure mapping, Plantation boundary and
plantation block boundary, plantation land use.
2- Developed high accuracy DEM, contour, slope, and slope length
3- Re-planning for replanting oil palm plantation

If the UAV performed at  150 m height, we will get images with 5 cm pixel resolution (the Ground Sampling Distance – GSD).

And :
1) The resolution of the orthophoto is maximally equal to the GSD, thus 5 cm.
2) The maximum planimetric accuracy is typically equal to the GSD of 5 cm (1 pixel). The average (RMS) planimetric accuracy of the orthophoto is 2 to 4 cm.
3) The spatial accuracy of the points in the DSM is 2 to 3 times the planimetric accuracy. The maximum error is thus typically 10 cm to 15 cm.
4) The bias error for the reference grid will be determined by the accuracy of the Ground Control Points (GCPs) included in the processing. Using high-quality GPS measurements, this can be accurate up to a few centimeters.
5) Without ground reference, the bias error can be up to 50 x 100 cm in X, Y. and  the relative X, Y accuracy remains the same, and
6) The grid density of the points in the DSM point cloud can be up to 5 times the GSD, thus 25 cm for the default case. This is 16 points per m2
